ModeratorMachine is a date code 17 (May 2003) but has hardly been used, a single young bloke who’s mother is fed up of doing his washing, she rang me on his behalf 🙂 . first time I have seen this small in line glass fast blow cartridge fuse in the motor leads on this machine.
Motor is an FHP, clean as a whistle and checks out OK. I suspect it is just a faulty fuse. Can find no reference on Partfinder. Any Hotpoint bods have a number for this small cartridge fuse?Rating appears to be T6.3L25OV, although it is difficult to see with my failing eyesight 😆
would I be able to obtain one of these from CPC?

The “T” would indicate it is not a fast blow fuse, (that would have a “F” or nothing before it) Its the same as a microwave fuse, 6.3A is a common size, Connect do them 32mm is 17019L
such is their lousy search system I cannot find the 20mm version. Could post you some if you you want.January 20, 2006 at 4:09 pm #161544iadom

Apparently the fuse plus holder is available from Hotpoint but not the fuse, cannot find a part number for that either. I will PM or e-mail you my address, if you could send me one that would be most kind of you.
Jim.

It was primarily put there to help cure overloading and tearing problems if something gets caught at the injector and jams the drum the fuse will go before it can damage clothes.
