The Impellor has become disconnected from the recirculation motor! How common is that?
This is the 3rd fault on an alledgly premium brand product, I beg to differ!

Anyone else had any problems with DWF66’s too?

Water director valve stuck in one position before along with the soap dispenser solenoid going O/C…

Not good, only 3 years old…

Not Dave the Bass who used to play for Straight Jake some years back perchance?

Dishwasher motors kick in with a bang – 0-2800 rpm in a split second, so the thread inside can strip eventually. Not too big a problem to solve as the impellor and housing are available as a separate item – p/no 690070529, about £25 plus the VAT from memory.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for confirmed prices and ordering will get things moving for you.

    But yes, a bit disappointing.

    Heh heh,

Nope, I’m Dave the bass of ‘Sarf Lundun’/ Kent, of no fame whatsoever but gigging in zillions of Funk/Jazz/rock/country etc etc bands for years…

Yeah, its a bummer about the hassle we’ve had with our ‘Sidney’ (Smeg) as he’s called. Took ages to save up for then goes wrong once a year every year! Boo.

Thanks for the advice BTW. The bearings in the recirculation motor are fine, it looks like the seal on the impellor was just about to give up anyway, theres a trace of calcified water across the alloy housing. The thread on the impellor is shot so I’ll just have to purchase the cap end/impellor housing, phew.

    All the best,

    DTB.
