    Our Smeg DWF 1.1 dishwasher no longer starts any programme. After the initial beep the drain motor runs for approx 1/2 second then stops and nothing further happens. Any ideas on where to start looking? I have tried the reset procedure to no effect.

    It sounds as if the flood protection has activated (flooded base), try leaning the machine forward or backward (towels handy ;)) and see if any water runs out.

    If it does, the leak that caused it may need sorting for a permanent fix, check the repairs@ link below 🙂

    Hi Dave

    I had already checked for water leaks and machine is completely dry. I forgot to mention that after running the reset procedure the code CO shows on the display.
