ParticipantHi my d/washer is showing error code F7, once I press the start buton it clears the problem. Then the d/washer gose as normall for 3 washes then the error code comes up again. I have just fixed a leak that it had from the pump, which I replaced a bit of hose.

F7 refers to a problem with the flow meter.
Chances are you’ll require an engineer for this one. Click on the repairs@ to check for your postcode.

Worth checking for low water pressure and kinked fill hose. If they are fine then DP already directed you.

Hi – I am having exactly this problem – So far I have checked the pressure – & replaced the water-in hose – works fine for a couple of days then F7 again. I have had an engineer out – apparently there is a water wheel sensor on the input – either this is sending wrong reading or the main control is not reciving and processing this reading OK. New wheel/ control unit and engineer charges have meant we are giving up and getting a new machine. In my opinion there are FAR to many electrical sensor components on modern machines. Our dishwasher works fine – it’s just the control unit thinks it has a problem… Very annoying.. 😥

It will be flow wheel sticking I imagine. A change of the l/h tank which comes complete with the flow meter approx £30 will sort that. Had one last week intermittent little sod 😆

GregNearer £50 now, Gegsy. Still, £400 dishwasher? I’d have thought it a worthwhile repair.

Hi – yes an engineer looked at the LH tank and we saw the flow meter wheel spinning fine – he said it could also be the control unit – potentially replacing both could be pricey. I have been advised to get a Hotpoint Aquarius FDW60 if I replace – what do you think??
