    Anyone seen these in the latest DAD flyer ,they boast a three year warranty ,Is it me or do they look suspiciously like a Servis ?

    Had the flyer this morning, I think the price says it all £129 for a 1200 spin in white. I think I`ll take a pass on it at the mo 😉 .

    A little bit of servis maybe, need to see one take the lid and rear panel off to be sure I suppose.

    All I know is They are a Spanish Manufacturer, new to the UK. DAD have the distribution on these. First deliveries are in today. The guarantee is first two years parts and labour, third year is for parts only. Service is through GBDAR 😯 and 😕

    Taurus, based in Barcelona, was established in 1962, and was bought by its current owners in 1997.

    I can’t find out who though but Antonio Merloni don’t seem to own it, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Balay although they would use the BSH network I would think 😕

    Its a Domar, owned by Antonio Merloni (SUK), famed maker of the Servis M3022/4.SUK stopped importing them about 2 years ago ‘cos they were so bad.
    Lots available in Spain but better built.

    Oh dear. If it’s based on that pile of poo then avoid like the plague IMO.

    Saying that, spares are easy to get at the local council tip most days. 😉

    One line in the second link from Dave which is working fine here, on the ‘English’ page, is quite amusing, ‘risky with balance’ that just about sums it up. 🙂

    Hi all
    Iv’e just come across one of these Tarus Washing Machines in a local nusing home I service. Where will I get spares from when the need arises which by your coments will be quite soon?

    GBdar I would imagine, a lot of the parts are probably the same as Servis as well.
