    My old faithful disposal unit has at last expired having had many repairs schemes over the years.

    Would any one care to recommend a quality replacement brand ? I have been looking at Waste King, Tweeny, In Sinkerator and Commander. The Wastekings from Homecreations seems to be a European equivalent of the USA models although I have not been able to find the spec.

    Is auto reverse just nice to have or a necessity?

    Any thoughts would be most welcome

    Personally I’d go for the In-Sink one as they seem pretty good and pretty well priced.

    The reverse function is worth having and can save a lot of hassles.
