    Hi all.

    My Tricity-Bendix AW1460W wasshing machine is not very well.

    Wife washed some fabric in it that shed loads of fur.
    Machine ground to a halt eventually becuase everything was blocked with clumps of furballs.

    I stripped the machine down and took the tub / drum assembly apart.
    Removed all the furballs from the gap between the fixed and rotating drum / tub.
    Cleared all hoses and the drain pump.

    Reassembled having made sure that everything was properly connected etc.

    Machine now beeps an error code:
    5 beeps when any program cycle is selected and then 2 beeps recurring until O selected using the program control.
    The Door indicator flashes in time with the beeps.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Machine was working perfectly before the incident.

    The error codes are most confusing for this model but logically it should be E52 which is related to the motor.

    Did you refit the motor plug correctly ??

    Hi Dave.

    Motor is connected correctly as far as I know.

    All connections to the motor are on 1 big connector.
    I don’t think it’s possible to plug it in the wrong way round as it is keyed, but will check carefully.
