    Hi, Does anyone know if it’s possible to get an Armature to fit this motor?
    (seimens)
    The brushes had worn down. No sooner changed them and the Armature started arching and sparking. Approx 4 years old.

    Motor only, Ash – 141875 £170 list 😯 . £100 from Masterpart.

    Ive never seen or had any parts from masterpart; how do they fare in quality to BSH genuine spares?

    That motor is out of stock BTW , and I often find this a bit of a problem with Masterpart when building an order. ie one or two items out of stock and struggle to reach the £60 free carriage barrier.

    But yes prices for Gen. Bosch parts very good.

    It’s worth a quick search on e-bay and in “classifieds” forum if the customer would otherwise scrap the machine. There are several sellers on e-bay who list motors and actually have backyards full of spares to judge by their listings.

    Im sure legally and as a reputable repair business you cannot use; or would want to use second hand parts ❓ .

    Greg, I don’t think there’s any law against it. I can’t see anything wrong with it if you’ve checked the condition of the part and consulted/informed the customer. And it’s better than sending another one to the scrapper IMO.

    Whatever works for you. Personally I would find it very un-proffessional and not the impression I would want to give off.

    Thankyou all for your help on this one. I’ve just orderd one from Masterpart. 104.00 pounds plus VAT. Washvac quoted 150.00 plus VAT.

    Hi Bryan, Yes the motors were out of stock when i phoned. I was told they were expecting them in about 2 weeks. On friday they rang to say they were in. 104.00 plus vat.
