    Hotpoint dishwasher (mod no DWF70) displaying error code AL10 at the end of its cycle. Customer has also reported that the machine manages to switch itself on and will run continously untill they pull the plug. I have been to it twice now and both times it has functioned correctly and has not displayed the error code. Does anybody have any ideas or is this machine just plain HAUNTED.

    Did you check the Error Code out under the “Known Error Code” section I wonder? (Top of the Trade Technical Forum 😉 )

    AL10 is a Heater circuit fault? A dodgy heater relay terminal on the PCB maybe?

    Hi,
    Heater faults (Inc earth leaks) may cause all sorts of strange faults on this range, had one last week not filling. A Merloni engineer told me any slight doubt’s they are fitting new heaters.
