    Would appreciate some suggestions and Whitegoods wisdom:

    On any pgm, you press Start (red light now continuous), door locks, pump runs for five seconds. Then it aborts – Start flashes red, doorlock light goes out (you can hear the relay on the PCB open as well) and that’s all it will do. Just 5 secs of pump, then abort.

    (No water in machine, pump is clear, water turned on, etc.)

    I guess the machine runs through a startup checklist and is finding something it doesn’t like. Someone said the initial pump action should last longer than 5 secs, more like ten, so it might be seeing a pump problem. Yet the pump sounds like it runs OK. I thought maybe interlock, but it locks OK with the usual clunk sound.

    is there a fault code displayed on the facia panel, ie (err 33).normally these m/c’s show a code?.

    There is no display for a fault code on this model – no LCD on the front panel.
