AEG Lavamat 72630-W Countdown problem

Hi,

I’ve just been out to this washer – PNC 914 002 096 01.
Its got a strange fault. According to the customer the programme countdown timer doesnt always countdown. She says that she can set a programme for say, 84 minutes and when she goes back in 30 minutes later, it still says the same. She can leave it for another 30 minutes and it gone down by 10 minutes. She says the programme doesnt get to an end position.
She can set the machine to spin and it will spin and pump out fine. I tested for the fault but of course it doesnt show up for me. Only after its been on a good while. She says it doesnt flash up any error codes.

Does anybody have any ideas, or is it the pcb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
