New recruit

I have just been speaking on the phone to an ex Hotpoint colleague of mine. I did intend to get round to informing him of the ‘Wonderful World of UKWG’s’ but kept forgetting. He has however just stumbled across the site and rang me after noticing my name on a couple of posts. Needless to say I have waxed lyrical on the virtues of being a member and he has promised to join our merry band.

His name is Cliff Noble, he left Hotpoint a couple of years after me, around 1970/1 and has been in business on his own ever since in the Ashton u Lyne/Dukinfield area, a good sound engineer who has access to 2 or 3 friends who are current Hotpoint engineers, unlike myself he has always supplemented his income with a small number of appliance sales so would make an ideal ISE candidate.

I can personally vouch for his suitability as a member of UKWG. 🙂
