About 4 years old. The only numbers I can find on this are on a bar code label onthe side 20004907377 030 203012 03 01.Thermostat is faulty freezing all the time.Thermostat is mounted in the ceiling of the fridge and the capillary disappears into the lining .Question-do you just pull it out of the hole and feed the new one back in . How long is it and will the ordinary VT9 fit or is it a short capillary and therefore a special stat.

526012802 is the genuine part number, probably best go for that to be honest although I wouldn’t be surprised if that doesn’t solve the problem.

The capillary tube may have become detached from the evaporator but there’s no way of telling without trying a new stat first 🙁

Model number is M7650-6S by the way 🙂

I would agree. VT9 stats usually fail in the no run position.
