Well, I think the Indesit d63 is well on the way out, at the mo I have to throw water into it as it’s not filling at all. (although this seems to have improved its ability to actually get dishes clean!).
I’m also a bit freaked by two people at work having fires from dishwashers left on overnight ❗ (fortunately both had smoke alarms so were lucky) and the Indesit seems a bit tempremental as well. So time for a new one methinks.

So, the vibe I get from the board is that a Bosch will do me OK (poor man’s Miele!). Question is which one to go for.

Which recomends the SGS55CO2 as one of their best buys. At work we have a SGS45E62 (£20 more). Is the only difference just the controls (dial on the first, buttons on the second).

I always thought a mechanical controller would be more likely to go wrong, as it has moving parts. Is this what happens in the real world?? Is it better to KISS (Keep it Simple, Stupid)! and avoid all the fancy electronic gubbins.

Which Bosch would people reccomend I go for? One of these or another – there are so many models and its hard to work out the differences between them. All advice gratefully received!:D

Re: Which Bosch to go for?

These are both fully digital machines, regardless of the knob – it is purely a selector switch. Apart from that they are mechanically identical, so look at the programme options available between the two and take the one which suits your likely needs best.

They are both decent quality appliances, 2 year guarantee is nice and shows confidence from the manufacturer, so take your pick.

I agree with Penguin, and dont be put off by some repair engineers who suck through their teeth when you mention spares and price, its a myth.
Spares usually 3 working days and prices are competetive from our own shop@ if required out of warranty.

    Regards
