    buying a new washing machine- can it be transported lying on its back or does it need to be kept upright? i’d like to pick it up in my hatchback but unsure if the weight of the blocks will damage the springs inside the machine. thanks.

    This will be fine as the machine will have “transit bolts” or other packing suporting the drum keeping it ridgid. these are removed as per instruction book before use
