The owner of my local (very nice) Italian restaurant, a place I frequent at least once a week, has just phoned me regarding his washer. A Whirpool AWM320. Complaint is that control knob is spinning round and feels loose.

Is this a known fault, if so what bits am I likely to need?

Haven`t done one in ages Jim , but it`s normally the adaptor knob that breaks , part no. 481231018418 or various other numbers.

Quick fix here is to ‘borrow’ the adapter from the temp selector until you can get a new one.

Translates as “That one would have to put it in good books of the Roberto”

    Still nonsense.
