    Hi
    I have just moved in to a flat with a built in oven with a gas hob.
    I have always used electricity to cook with.
    How do you clean the stove top burners?,should I clean out the jets.?
    Should I poke down the holes with a pipe cleaner or something.

    You need a corgi engineer to do all those things and to deem the appliance safe to use, for your own well being. If you are renting the flat it is the duty of the landlord to have ALL gas appliance safety checked on an annual basis at no cost to yourself.
