I have a bosch KGV3120gb/01. It is experiencing the same sensor fault as seen in other posts in this forum, ie it started to get warm in the fridge, turn off for a bit turn back on and everything works until the compressor stops running and the temperature goes back up without it starting to pump again. I got the sensor kit and fitted it no problem but the problem is still the same. The fridge certainly gets colder but again once its stopped running the temperature goes back up and the compressor doesn’t start running again. I think there must be another fault somewhere. I have metered out the short made by the kit and thats all fine. Could there be a problem with the relay or control board? If the relay was faulty would the compressor kick in when the fridge is turned off and back on again?

    Help appreciated!

Possible and also its easy to get mod wrong aswell. Would suggest the link below for repairs in all honesty if you find the mod is correct.

After getting the number for a local engineer from this great site, I gave him a call. After giving him a couple of resistance readings from the NTC, the problem was solved over the phone. I will be sending him something for being so open and helpful (call out charge or something!).

Saved me a fortune as I was going to call out Bosch (nearly cheaper to buy a new one) but you gotta try keep the dead fridge mountain down!!

    Thanks for this site 😀
