Is it possible to vent a tumble dryer over a distance of 8 metres by adding an extra fan (centrifugal)? If so, where would be the best place to put the extra fan?

Hmmmmmmmmm!!!! That’s a unique question. 🙂
The problem is, that it is steam that is in that pipe. I suspect that alot of the steam would just condense back to water in a pipe that long, and then there would be water gathering in the pipe 😕

An impossibility I’m afraid without seriously affecting to performance of the dryer (whatever make you have or purchase). It is simply not possible even with the idea of sticking an extra exhaust fan in the line.
A tumble dryer exhaust is a bit like a car exhaust. If you stuck an extra 8 metres of exhaust pipe on your car, not only would the lack of power be immediate, the engine would soon burnt out!
Why not move Mohammed a little closer to the mountain instead? 💡

Here’s another thought, how about one of those condenser vent hoses? You know, the short length of vent hose with a container stuck on the end, dunno how they work mind you? 😕

Not that well, a few customers of mine have used them but they are not impressed, one of them works by tipping ice cubes in the container that the hose goes into. I would much sooner put my ice in a nice malt, or a G&T. 😀
