The float switch has activated due to flooded base. Drain off base, strip and clean pressure switch unit and clean sump inlet hose etc 😉

Welcome to the site by the way John

    Regards

P.S Take your “Caps Lock” off mate (No SHOUTING allowed 🙂 )

Hi Martin – Sorry about the capitals – habit.

I thought about the flood switch also and the base is bone dry – lifting the float turns the water inlet off but not the pump. m I shall go and check this out tomorrow though. At present unable to relaease the bhottom door panel at present – it must have got stuck with grease or as they fit them here with silicone grease which is really frustrating.

Any way – thanks for comming back – I am under instruction from your hq as to how to operate this site without Broadband Cheers John : cant use these little yellow things either !

Must be a module failure then in that case?

Best to remove the outer decor panel first (take blanking plugs off the side and loosen screws within – door should fall away at the top so you can unhook it at the bottom). Once that’s off the outer metal door panel simply unscrews off (6 screws). No way should any of the above panels be silicone sealed in, what’s the point?

If you find any blown tracks or chips on the module, then beware as likely as not something has caused them to blow???
