    I have a Creda Concept Solar Plus, model 48319 that is about 16 years old.

    Although the oven would heat up, the main oven fan stopped working and it felt a bit rough when turning it by hand so I replaced it yesterday with a new one and all was well. 😀

    However, today the fan is not working. 🙁 Again the oven is heating up but the fan no go!

    I did a circuit check on the fan motor and it’s ok.

    I disconnected the two wires at the motor and did a circuit test on them and again they are ok according to my meter.

    Any ideas/help would be much appreciated.

    could be thermostat, has two sets of contacts one being on all time stat is on which brings fan on and other set cycles the element

    Recently returned after sunning myself for a couple of weeks in the Egyptian sun 😀 and came back to reality and the broken cooker! 🙁

    As I was unsure of where the thermostat was I phoned a local repair man to come and have a look. Long and short of it is that spare thermostats and door switches, among several other items, are now obsolete for this model.

    So I have bit the bullet and plumped for a new cooker.

    Thank you all for your responses though, much appreciated.
