I have a Bauknecht GSF 8971 with the service number 8546 897 15710.
It suddenly decided not to work and the reset/start light kept flashing. Being a bit dim I assumed it must be the user board and replaced it. Needless to say the same thing happens with the new board ie the reset start light either repeatedly flashes twice with one second off or six times with one second off. The machine does not seem to be getting any water although the supply pipe is fine. Any thoughts gratefully received.Re: Buggered Bauknecht.

The 2 flashes would indicate a flooded base and the 6 flashes a fault with the flowmeter.
The error codes are only a guide as to what the fault may be. If the base isn’t flooded I’m afraid it’s going to be engineer time to sort it out.

When you say base, do you mean the bottom of the inside of the machine or some internal area? Sorry to be so thick but thanks for the input.
