    Dryer recently started drying intermittently.

Starts off ok and then, occasionally, the empty water light comes on, even though water tank is empty, and heater stops working although cycle continues to end.

Sometimes the empty water light goes off again and heater starts working properly.

    Help, please!

Sorry, have just read message about 5 below this. Please ignore!! 😳

This is often caused by fluff and gunge build up in the float chamber, to be honest this is not really a DIY fix, it is a very difficult part to access and is best left to an expert, in most cases you will not need any parts so it should not be to expensive. Click on the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help.

iadom, thank you once again for your help, although I ignored your advice and tried the job myself.

Once I realised the bottom of the machine had to come off it was a very simple job. Can’t believe how much gunk was in there :eeek:

Anyway the dryer is like new again and is happily drying anything I throw in it 😀

    BIG THANKS!
