It may be that the flood protection device in the base has been triggered by an overflow or leakage situation. Pull out the plug, pull the machine out and very carefully tip it backwards slowly till it is resting on its back. During this process water may flow out of the base at the back. If it does this is an indication that the flood prevention device had been triggered.
Right the machine and after making sure the plug and cable etc are thoroughly dry, try it again.
The F.P. device may have been triggered by use of a tablet which did not dissolve properly leading to foaming/overflow.
The above advice is offered with the understanding that no liability for damage attaches to me or to ukwhitegoods for offering it.
If there is still a problem, try the Repairs@ link.

ParticipantMsery that was not the problem, all ok down there, looks like the problem is on the timer module, seems to have been a dry joint on a relay base and burnining out the track connection, have repaired it and now the waterr heats up and timer steps through on the display, but machine still stuck pumping water round, prob relay damaged. have to get a new module…. £120 🙁 or try n replace relay if i can source parts…..Bosch I am not impressed!!!!!!

Hi Mick
The pin on the relay is a common one with that board, but Ive never had a problem with the board affecting the pumping.
I would remove L/H side of appliance and look at the float assembly for activation.Greg

ParticipantHi Greg thanks for the reply
I have just checked all the float operations and they seem to be working ok, have orerated them manually and solonids and drain pump etc all ok, the machine just remains on a wash operation heating the water all the time no matter what else you do!
I belive there to be a gremlin in the house as the vacum needs new brushes and the washing machine has started to make bearing replacement noises.Mick the misrable

It’s almost certainly the board itself – may not be detecting or moving on from the temperature rise.
Got to say with your myriad of problems it’s time to get an engineer in – click the link below. With a good block of work, you might be pleasantly surprised at the cost……….
