    im trying to obtain a circulation motor and a pair of hinge cords (those string things with plastic on the end) ive rang glen dimplex and they have quoted me £157 +vat+p&p for the motor and they cant find the cords on the system, the motor is a large askol like on the diplomat d/w (modificationto ce set motor)will this one fit this model and does anyone know where to get the cords?

    Hotpoint DF53 dishwasher uses cords for the door restraint mechanism; possible they are the same? Also, as Dimplex brands also encompass Belling, their dishwasher (widely available at B&Q if you need a model no.!!) may have the same hinge set – up.

    thanks aqualectric need to sort circ motor price out first i think they will scrap it if i cant find it cheaper but at lest thats another road i can go down if req

    Can you tell us if the circ pump ‘twists’ directly onto the sump moulding or is it remote from the sump and connected by hoses. Should be able to source a Brandt one a fair bit cheaper.
