    please can someone give me some advice on the above model of fridge freezer.the fridge on this model does not seem to be cooling down.freezer seems to be ok.no cold air coming through the air vent inside the fridge and the manual told me to do a self test by turning the freezer temperature buttons up or down????which i did and everything is ok there, cant seem to find a downloadable service manual for this model.wondering whether to call out an engineer or whether to scrap it and buy new.the model is only about 3 years old.lg website gives no info on service manuals, so unsure what to do.frige light is working fast freeze and vacation button ok .frost free freezes seems to have some ice crystals forming in small amounts but not excessive.

    It sounds like you may have an over-icing problem in the freezer restricting the air flow to the fridge.

    Try a total defrost for 24 hours and see if that helps, it may not of course rectify the underlying cause which may need an engineer to diagnose for you..

    If you need an engineer, check the repairs@ link below 🙂

    Thanks for the quick reply Dave.Will try that.Husband may post more info later on tonight to narrow problem down.Sorry if the info is a bit vague (being female, I only know about kittens and embroidery!!!!).Thanks.
