Have one of these that I’ve been to twice in the past.
Both times belt off. First time just put it back tested it for play, spin with load etc all ok.
2nd call noticed a yellow transit packing (pushed right in at the front) was falling back and catching the pulley on spin.
End of it I thought and that was b4 christmas.
She’s just called back and says its benn doing it again but she has now got fed up of putting the belt back on.
No noise reported or unusual spin, belt is ok, but it keeps being thrown off.
Don’t know anything else about these machines other than what I’ve read in posts, is this a fault that anyone else has encountered.TC

Had one put belt back on came off a week later. Replaced belt and been o.k. ever since. Couldnt see fault with old belt though.

If its a stretch belt then some of the support fibres may have snapped internally….seen this a couple of times on other makes.
Outwardly there is virtually no sign of the failure but a new belt will sort it 😉

Any ideas on part number.
Just tried Masterpart with that model and 50 belts turned up. 😯TC

this sounds like a ARI SILTAL machine when you mentioned the yellow foam strips down the sides of the drum.
if this is the case then the belt needed is what we know as a red marked belt which is slightly smaller and doesnt come off.
i would bet that the belt thats on it has green writing on it.
