    Re: water supply

    Hi
In a nutshell you save water, electricity and save energy by not firing up the boiler for hot water which would not have reached temp by the time the machine had stopped filling.
They do wash longer because of the low water used but the savings in energy are noticable.
    Hope that clarifies it.

Also , certain types of stains can become set into the fabrics on contact with hot water, before the detergent has had time to act.
