I need the timer control outer knob and the programme indicator knob/drum .
Using the Bosch Quick Finder I have identified the knob as a, 155314 1, but although the programme indicator is shown, it only has a number 1 at the side of it.????

Oh dear, looks like a bit of surgery will have to be applied. 🙂

    Thanks Bryan.

Don`t bother with the surgery bit ,the new knob will function perfectly without the flimsy plastic bits on the indicator .

Its what is known as ‘spoiling the ship, for an ‘aperth ( one halfpenny) o tar’ .good solid machines with such manky plastic bits on the front. Had to change a 265085, knob and front assy on another Bosch model today.

I wouldn`t knock it Jim because faults like this are good , solid , easy repairs with very little chance of a recall. This is the type of work we all need where the customer will happily pay a reasonable sum for a job well done.

When a customer calls me with a Bosch timer knob turning freely by hand , I think “oh great” , when a customer calls with an Indesit timer knob turning of its own free will , I think “oh f…”
