Machine doesnt take in enough water, not touching the bottom of the drum,no blockage in pressure chamber or hose.Changed pressure switch- same problem, the machine will go through full cycle but with no water in the drum.Pressure switch seems to be quite hairtrigger and the pressure chamber is the one that comes off the sump hose. Any ideas please.
Not changed the drum assembly. The customers original complaint was that she was getting very poor wash results not surprising with no water getting into the drum.
Is this the correct model?I’ve never seen an as130 with a pressure chamber on the sump hose. this set up is normally on the hoover six models and later. The pressure chamber should be next to the heater at the back.
It’s beginning to look like this machine may be made from a Quattro and a Six.As I cant fit the old type pressure chamber-its blocked off, perhaps the p/switch from a Six may be the answer.I’ll have to dig into the history of this machine – I bet its somebody’s “quality reconditioned” although the customer says it did work OK.
It’s had a replacement tub. Been there and got the tee shirt. New tub comes with new sump hoses and pressure chamber. Old hose doesn’t fit new tub so I thought this was all part of a modification and so fitted new parts. Wouldn’t take in enough water. Eventually drilled out the blank on new tub, fitted the original pressure chamber and all was well. Had to get a different sump hose for it though.
