Yes Bob , I know what you mean about spending a lot of time on the phone to customers but I just consider it part of the job and sometimes 5 or 10 minutes “grilling” a customer on the fault details can save time on site.
Sorry don`t know anything about call centre help but at the end of the day I think we would still end up calling customers back for further vital details and discussion.
Seems to be more and more mobile calls these days and they never even know the make of their appliance and they`re never at home 🙄 .
