    I have taken my Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer over to Spain, where I cannot find any Hotpoint service facilities, and it has recently started playing up. The freezer compartment is operating normally, whereas the fridge is not cooling (seemingly a common problem, looking at other threads). After carrying out basic troubleshooting on it, I have found that the cause of the fault is the circulation fan in the freezer not operating, and thus not cooling the fridge down, though on removing it, it bench-tests correctly. Therefore, the problem appears to be in the fan control circuit. As all parts will have to be purchased from the UK, which part (s) would you advise me to buy first to address this problem?

    The thermistors are the usual culprits, there’s plenty on them in the other Mistral threads as well 🙂
