machine not filling up. Have checked water inlet pipe etc all ok.

Filled with water and drained OK.

    Run pre wash no water

Suspect valve or switch controlling water in. Any ideas. How do I get into it to check

    Thanks

Thought Gegsy might have answered this by now – he’s so naughty. 🙄

Right. This machine uses the “mushroom” water level control system, and basically it gunges up over time. The official repair is to replace the “mushroom” and the control board, which has new software allowing for a higher water level.

A job best carried out by BSH if the machine is under two years old, click the link below for an independant if it’s older.

    Power off if investigating……….

Chris you monkey, this doesnt have the mushroom float set up.
Gunge, faulty water valve or module; possiblilities.
Does it pump all the time edimick? As in empty pump? If so I would check water in the base (below wash tank).

Thanks to both of you. Will investigate your suggestons.

Dont know if pump still runs when empty sounds as though it may be. Filled up tank maually and it ran a pre wash but didnt fill for a normal wash.
