Am I the only one who has noticed that CDA parts seem to be in chaos. In the last fourteen days we have had 3 incorrect fan kits for extractors and 3 incorrect dishwasher circulating pumps. If I didnt know different I would think we are just getting parts of any type, to give them time to get the correct ones sorted.

    Re: CDA

The truth is they are in chaos as parts is now not run by JH. JH is officially on garden leave pending him starting for ISE on the 24th April, before he left he told me the parts dept had gone downhill rapidly in two days….

The chaos bit you did not hear from me…ta

    Re: CDA

    I’ve chucked them out.

We had 2 calls in old peoples homes on range cookers that needed cooling fans. We ordered the bits, and 2 months later they arrived. When we phoned to book the calls we found that in the meantime another company had been and completed the jobs.

I phoned John Hopwood and left a message, in addition looked out all the calls in our workload awaiting parts, we phoned the customers and told them to phone CDA as we were terminating that day.

We then invoiced them, and got paid for all these calls and washed our hands of them. Funny thing is the cookers both came back, and CDA asked us to attend. The second word finished with off.

Yep Ian, it’s a shambles, we’ve had the same and are charging accordingly for wasted visits.
