    Does anyone have a manual showing the timer sequence for this machine? My query is on the wool wash. The machine fills and then tumbles very fast (about 120 rpm) for about two minutes and then reverts to a slower tumble.

    I can’t beleive that this is correct as it should be a gentle program. It seems OK on all other programs apart from an intermittent leak from the dispenser.

    I am assuming that there is a fault with the electronics that is allowing it to spin on wash. (By the way this is the one with the three phase motor)

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    Hi Bob, don’t have a manual but quite a lot of machines now do this sort of thing as part of the programme. seen a lot of Indesit machines that do this. Also just found out that the WD420/440 range does a ‘thermal spin’ on the high heat drying cycle. The load is pre-heated to around 50° by the dryer heater with normal action and pump out, when this temp is reached the machine does a 5 minute spin at full speed. 😯

    Now if I had not found out that piece of info, I would have been very surprised if I had seen it in operation.

    Thanks Jim. I believe the leak was from the blocked fab conditioner compartment. However, as is the norm, it wont leak when I’m watching it.

    hi Bob,

    Indesit received the gold wool mark for this strange inovation, the idea is that the load sticks to the inner drum stopping it rubbing against itself. BRILLIANT 😕

    As mentioned above, this is the norm for this machine but check the sump for blockages. If the sump is blocked or partially blocked it will throw water from the dispenser down the front panel and will not always show an error on the board.
    Had a similar checked flow all appeared OK no leaks, then it would go into spin and drop the water.. a duster wrapped up around the sump ball..Sorted.

    This appliance is built in Italy. The drum spins clockwise and therefore can throw water from the drum up into the drawer. This causes a leak.

    Can also be caused by customer using tablets in drewer or high water pressure.
