    I have a Fisher & Paykel Intuitive Eco IW812. For many years it has worked fine, but just recently, during the wash, it stops and says: “I need code 52”.

    Could anyone please help me with this? I would much appreciate any help.

    Don’t think anyone’s asked about an IW yet……

    I think you’ll find that the diverter valve for re-recirculation is the problem. The machine has detected that it is losing water whilst re-circulating as the valve is not fully seated home. Likely faults are wiring problems, valve failure or possibly obstructed.

    Power off if going in……..
