ParticipantMy washer dryer has stopped working 😥
It’s a Zanussi JetSystem TurboDry 1200 XC
When I switch it on, all the lights light up as I select my program. Then I press the Start button, which is flashing (I seem to remeber this may mean it is on Pause, but might be wrong). There is a beep when you press the button, so it does know you’re pressing it, but nothing else happens, it’s like it’s not trying to do anything. This is true whether you try to wash or dry, so it seems to me like it must be something electronic?
My husband has checked the circuit board behind the front panel and can’t see anything wrong with it.
Has anyone come across this before?
Thanks
Lindsey

Hi Greg,
Yes I’ve checked the door, that seems to be okay, the door is locking by itself, and unlocking after a period of time as usual. It’s really strange.
I don’t know enough about the electronics to think what it might be – it’s like it doesn’t know what to do when I press the Start button, even though it knows it’s been pressed.
Cheers

To give anymore help we would need a model number and a production number, these can be found on the door inner.Greg

Door interlock is p/no 1249675-12/3, about £23 from memory. Be advised that about 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the machines I have attended with this lock have blown the electronics in some way.
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you wish to order.
Power off as you investigate.
