I have a Bosch WFF 2000. The time selector, which also indicates the state of the programme, is stuck and won’t turn. Is this fixable or is it part of a unit that has to be replaced? We’ve managed to prise the top front of the machine lose and can see behind it but there is no obvious way of actually removing the selector knob to see what might be causing it to stick. Anybody got any ideas or is this one where we need to get a repair guy to look at it?

    Re: Bosch time selector stuck

Either the knob or indicator are broken by the sound of it, probably the latter. They are all seperate parts so will be replaceable.

We’ll need the full model WFF2000GB/?? from inside the door or on the rear please to identify accurately.

If you’re unsure about how to remove then it may be best to ask an engineer, the repairs@ link below should provide one.

Power off if you go further yourself of course :zap:

The full model number is WFF2000GB/14. I can’t see how the knob can be removed unless it is prised outwards into the room, as it where. But if you reckon the knob or indicator are broken rather than just stuck, then I’ll probably need an engineer. Thanks for your advice.

If it turns out to be the knobs, they can be prised apart but easier to change whole fascia – 290032. Sounds more like a seized timer to me.
