Dear Sirs, I own a Zanussi Nexus model:FL1082, and the settings Knob has disengaged from the timer spindle/rachet mechanism. It turns freely without moving the timer. Can’t see any broken bits around or damage to plastic parts. There are two white lugs at the front of the Knob, but don’t seem to locate anywhere on the ratchet assembly of the timer. does this require a new knob or timer, or can I replace anything which connects the two together..If so can you tell me where I can obtain the parts?
    many thanks. B Taylor.

Indeed. At a guess, the teeth from inside of the timer cam (green discish thing) have sheered off. This part, can be bought separate from the timer.

It’s just which bit you need? The cam? The cam bush?

It’s a tricky job to do as well 😕

    Power off first! :zap:

Knob inner (the bit under the knob) is p/no 1247420-00/1.
The cam (Which the inner engages in) is p/no 1247996-00/0.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you wish to order any of the above parts.

Power off if doing this job yourself.

    Regards,
    Penguin45.
