Participantbit of an odd query, sorry.
I quite like the look of the CDA single electric ovens eg CD620, CD 201 – however things often look and feel very different ‘in the flesh’.
Does anyone happen to know of any shops/suppliers in the Leeds area where I could have a look at some of CDA’s stuff? Places like Comet and Curries, or Empiredirect, don’t appear to stock them.
Any ideas appreciated
claudia

thanks Don
I’d tried the website, too 🙂will contact them, just wondered if anyone happened to know as companies tend to be useless at that sort of info, for some reason.

Rang their sales number; they were very nice and i was given details of a Norwood Interiors in Leeds which may have a showroom.
Unfortunately the telephone number they gave me was that of an unsuspecting private household.
After looking them up on the internet, the address CDA gave me for their showroom was apparently also incorrect…
It will be interesting to see whether they actually stock CDA or not! 😉claudia

oh good!
at least the details on the Norwood website are correct, then 😉CDA gave an address for an industrial estate in Beeston, and a 01484 code tel. no which they said must be head office! hmmmmn.

I’ve just recently purchased a CDA oven which I’m very pleased with. The only thing is what do I clean the interior with as I think it is enamel and most oven cleanersw do not recommend using on enamel. Any ideas? 🙂 ❓

We have just cleaned ours with a non-scratch multi-purpose cleaner (Ecover in our case), think it’s OK.
For anyone who was interested in our level of satisfaction with this product:
I’m no cooking fanatic but a friend of mine who is, and came to stay + cooked, said it was a really good oven. The only thing we were unhappy with is that it came with only one ovenshelf, and that the grill pan (which can be used as a second ‘shelf’) was twisted ie wonky, and not very well designed as the handle is difficult to use.
Apart from that: looks good, performs well, and inexpensive for a basic single electric fan oven.

For anyone else interested in CDA,
Kutchenhaus Kitchens (they are near the new ski slope in Manchester) show manu CDA ovens, mostly built-ins but also the PZ10 range cooker.
