    Hi
Have a Creda 17113 x excel 1200 washing machine, which is aways fighting back, had loads of problems with the motor brush’s had to replace one of the brush contact wires that fits to the spade connector on the brush housing,

This then kept breaking, so in the end, had to fold the wire conductors back on the insolation and crimp the spade connector to that, that stopped that,

but them it started shaking itself to pieces, on fast spin, like as if the inner drum was hitting the fixed outer drum, as bits of grey plastic apper in the drum after this exercise,

not sure if this is the drum main bearing as it fells tight enough, if you try to move the inner drum up and down, of if it’s a combination of the top two (front and rear compression springs, with the shock adsorber type dampers either side of the fixed drum assy fitted to the base.

    any help here much appresated

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply, is this a job worth doing, or a scrap it type fault?

That depends on who fits the spares.

I do that job for £120ish, include the spares (bearings and shaft) and VAT.

But I’m sure that price can vary upwards or downwards, depending on who does it.

Ps. Iadom, are Credas covered by Hotpoints five year parts guarantee?
