Testing Thermostat

    My creda tumble dryer is not heating. I took the back off and after a few tests suspect the right hand thermostat above the heater. It has code 36FXE14 printed on the side. How should I test this? It has a resistance of 6.2Mohms at room temp. Thanks a lot.

    Thermostat should be normally closed, therefore resistance near as spit zero ohms.

    Without the model number I can’t advise which stat kit you will need, work it out from the link attached:
