    Hi

    I’m after some relatively simple advice regarding my Hotpoint FEW12 Washing machine.

    I’ve recently moved it into the garage where there is only a cold water feed and I was wondering if I need to have the hot feed pipe connected to a ‘Y’ shaped splitter which I would connect to the cold feed, or can I leave it open and disconnected or cap the entry off on the washer?
