They have been obsolete for over 2 years or more, I gave up trying to source these a long time ago. a very common failure in this soft water area, such a darned shame to have to scrap perfectly good machines which are definately not BER, for this problem. 😥
It is a major problem for those people that have their kitchens built round a top loader. The Bosch & Zanussi alternatives are not always a solution due to the position of the controls on one, and the pump filter on the other.

just been to one that needs a support tube this afternoon, machine is over 20 years old though. A prime candidate for a new ISE. She is consulting her husband tonight. 🙂

If you can spare the time to strip machine down to the bellows seal on the supp/tube providing the alloy is not rotting to bad near carbon face seal you can remove bellows and wire brush around this area glue bellows back on tube using debor sealant do not fix spring clip back on till dry you must fit new sping seal in drum or take spring out of seal stetch and refit bit fiddly but does work also cleanbowl support were topseal fits a touch of washing lliquid on all carbon face seals refit finish of with new cork washer” phew”iam knackerd now . It does work i have done this many times and it does stand thetest of time.

Thanks Hotdog.. Used to this at one time but had a number of tubes that had corroded round the c/face bed so decided to changing tube was the better option.. Still got a bellows seal on the van so if I can get hold of a tripod kit looks like a strip down to see if it is viable repair.
Can you still get tripod kits of they obsolete aswell?

If you get stuck I have a tripod kit you can have for a modest consideration. 🙂 -
