My Tricity Bendix TBDW41 (built in) isn’t emptying and I assume it’s the drain pump as it’s filling okay and the filters don’t appear to be a problem.

Don’t seem to be able to locate spares anywhere – am I being too ambitious, is it one of these machines that would need practically destroying to get to the pump?

    I know, not very technical am I … 😕

Only one pump/motor on these. For safety reasons we cannot go into precise details, other than to say it is low down at the back.
Please remove the plug if you intend to proceed or, click the link in my sig to see If we have someone in your area that could help.

Thanks. I know my limits! Will investigate further when I can afford to have it repaired. Until then, it’s back to washing up for me! 🙄

Is the machine doing the wash, are the spray arms rotating and spraying water out. If yes then you may just have a blockage, if not you may need a complete motor & pump assembly.

Yes, it’s doing everything apart from empty out. When it should empty it just dies … and there’s no noise of the pump trying to pump if you see what I mean.

Knowing my luck it’ll be the motor and pump assembly.

Sounds like your fault may not be the pump itself. Time for an expert opinion. 😉
