Hi,
The oven on my New World Twinline 2002 refuses to work. No spark,no gas,no light and alas, no fan. It was working OK on leaving the house,(with a lovely home made steak and ale pie cooking away) on return, the oven had ceased to function although the grill is OK. Would appreciate a cure if anyone can help.
It sounds like the timer to me, have you double checked it’s in “manual” mode (only some Twinline’s had timers, model number required CKG…) ?
There’s also a small PCB in these that can cause this but that would require an engineer to check for you, the repairs@ link below should help with that 🙂
Thanks Dave. Only model number that I can find is on oven door which reads Model No:-16500. Cooker does not have a timer. Tag alongside PCB inside cooker does mention a fuse that might blow if problems, but guess what…? no fuse! Exasperation is not a word that I use very often(or can spell properly) but…anybody, H E L P !!!
Hi Dave,
I,ve had pcb checked by electrician in school and it seems OK. Fan works OK (off cooker and on if switch is shorted out). Concerned about tag that tells me about a fuse on the PCB if problems are encountered. There really is no fuse to be found in the electrical circuit anywhere. Wife suggested that it could possibly be the oven switch situated behind the knob. Is this possible? I,m flummoxed.
