    Hi There…

    I have a problem with our dishwasher and was desprate for some pointers on what might be wrong…

    its a Candy CD242

    It fills and starts but does not run through its cycles…..
    nothing apperas to be out of place, or unconnected.

    Was thinking it might be a thermostat problem or maybe a timer switch, but not sure…
    Please could some one let me know what part might be needed for it so I can order it with my PayPal account…

    Hi Anne Marie…………. there are several faults that can cause this. Any suggestions as to component failure would be just guesswork, it may not even need a part.

    If you do not have the correct test equipment or electrical competence then you really do need to have the machine checked out by someone who does.

    Hi there, have a which someone has given me Candy CD242 but no manual — is this machine hot or cold fill??

    As a rule you should always plumb modern dishwashers into the cold supply.
