ParticipantMy washing machine is either leaking water from the Drawer or the main door. There is a lot of water left in the conditioner section when the cycle has ended, someone said that the sump may be blocked, any ideas?

Unlikely to be the sump, more likely to be high water pressure. Remove the drawer completely and clean it from all sides, including the drain channel for the fabric conditioner. Use tablets or powder and make sure you do not have the blue flap at the back of the soap compartment down in the ‘liquid’ position. Don’t overfill the fabric conditioner compartment and avoid using very thick fabric conditioners or water them down a little.
If you get a loud gushing, noise when the machine is filling, use the two taps the fill hoses are connected to, to adjust the pressure so that you get a nice steady flow.

hi
if you remove the drawer from its compartment and look inside the compartment you will see that the bottom is very flat (very slight slope to the back of the machine)
this must be very clean at the back of the slope (normally scummed up with powder) otherwise the water cant runaway fast enough and runs out the front
you can also turn the water pressure down (as mentioned by iadom) or you can adjust the front feet up a little so the slope is a little steeper towards the back
but the best cure is to keep the compartment clean(again as mentioned by iadom)
as for the water in the conditoner area being full of water it probably just needs a good clean

In fact, the soap drawer compartment on these machines is not flat, or slightly sloping towards the back. It is steeply sloping towards the front, because the hose that takes the water and detergent into the drum is at the front of the dispenser compartment.
I have just looked inside my own WMA 62 😉
