Does anybody know what a flashing “clean filter” led (second from top)means on this machine along with associated beeping? (apart from the obvious).
Machine is only about 2 years old and the filter and condenser are spotless. The fault occurs about 5 to 10 minutes after starting. I’ve checked the pump and pipes for blockage – all ok. I thought it might be some sort of sensor failure, but disconnecting the front and rear sensors in turn and running it brings up different leds flashing. Heater has continuity, manual toc ok. Oh and by the way, doesn’t seem to be heating either! Can’t even be sure whether it was or wasn’t before I played about with it for an hour and a half late on friday afternoon getting increasingly hacked off! Pease help me guys……..

Definitely sounds like the sort of situation where the only way to find out is to swap parts till you get a result. How expensive would it be to swap both sensors?

Have you checked for blockages and you could try removing filter, as they can become invisibly clogged by softner deposits etc these would make a rapid temp rise in the heater NTC and give you tha fault, also if drum isnt rotating sufficiently, ie difficult to turn.

    Hope that helps

Discounting blockages(fine mesh clogged, pump blocked, hoses blocked ect), I find it tends to be the element NTC.
