    We have a tumble dryer, a Hotpoint Aquarius Dryer which seems to be a problem at the moment. When we turn it on (with or without clothes in, it makes no difference) the drum does not go round, it is stationary. You can hear the normal tumble dryer noise but nothing happens with the drum.
    Anyone got any ideas? It is old, around 9 years but it has never let us down before.

    It’s probably the belt which will be a straightforward repair generally and not overly expensive.

    Model number please for correct identification and further help (93?? more than likely at that age ;))

    Hi Dave

    Many thanks for replying. I have had a look and the dryer is a ‘Reversomatic Dryer Plus TL21A’
